Quartzite is one of the most physically durable and chemically resistant rocks found at Earth’s surface. Like other natural stones, quartzite is also a mined stone and is considered high-end and luxurious. When properly prepped, quartzite resists moisture, bacteria, stains, scratches, and is also heat-resistant. When heated during the process of manufacturing, individual quartz pieces recrystallize giving it a beautiful and decorative sparkling pattern. Blue explosion is a soft quartzite which comes from the land of stones, Italy. It is harder and better in terms of chemical resistance as compared to marbles and comes in various vibrant shades of blue which makes it aesthetically a very exotic choice for many indoor applications like kitchen countertops, vanities, kitchen islands and many more.
